Evidence should lead somewhere.

For more than twelve years, I have worked across research, analysis, writing and training. I design the method, check the evidence and communicate what it means so a busy reader can act confidently.

Delight Data Exploration brings the people and systems around that work together, giving clients clear methods, checked results and guidance they can continue using.

Based in Nigeria. Supporting clients and institutions internationally.

Research and analysis 01

Making nine analyses consistent, accurate and explainable

Analysis coaching and verification for a United Kingdom postgraduate cohort

The situation

Nine postgraduate clients were working with the same eighty one case teaching dataset. Each needed to understand the correct analytical route, write independently and reconcile every reported figure with the source data.

What I did

I provided structured analysis coaching and verification across descriptives, reliability, t tests, non parametric equivalents, chi square, analysis of variance and multiple regression. Every statistic was reproduced independently, assumptions were checked and the clients were guided to interpret their own results accurately.

What came out
  • Every checked analysis reproduced exactly from the raw data
  • Overlap was confined to legitimately shared references
  • Twenty three and twenty seven verification checks passed across the two lead records
  • Four interpretation problems were identified and corrected before submission

OLIVE

Built and published in house. In active development. View OLIVE

The situation

Students juggle deadlines, revision, applications and money with nothing joining them up. The firm's own advice lived in blog posts and messages that nobody could find twice.

What I did

I designed and built a progressive web application that installs on any device. Practice sessions built around the user's own subject and level, study tools, an opportunity board, and a route straight through to human help when the free tools run out.

What came out
  • Live at olive.delightdataexploration.com and installable on supported devices
  • Five connected areas covering learning, improvement, community and essentials
  • Clear routes from self service learning to specialist human support
  • Still in active development, with new capability being tested and released

Search and content 03

Tripling a site's presence in Google in under three months

delightdataexploration.com

The situation

The site had thirty eight pages indexed by Google out of roughly two hundred. A stale hand built sitemap was overriding the dynamic one, so new posts were not being discovered, and thirty seven thin pages were diluting the whole domain.

What I did

Removed the stale sitemap, stripped thin pages out of the index deliberately, rebuilt the publishing workflow so every post ships with a completed search profile, and held a steady publishing cadence rather than sprinting and going quiet.

What came out
  • Indexed pages rose from 38 to 104 between early June and late July 2026
  • Listed by Feedspot among the top Nigeria education blogs
  • Feedspot became the second largest traffic source after Google
  • Over eighty five posts published on a maintained calendar

Two books, written, designed and published

Amazon Kindle and Selar. View the book

The situation

Twelve years of the same conversations with students, repeated one at a time, reaching one person per hour.

What I did

Wrote, designed and self published two guides. One on succeeding at a United Kingdom university, built from real marks and real feedback sheets. One on using artificial intelligence in academic work honestly, built on an eleven case research base rather than opinion.

What came out
  • How to Excel at a UK University, published July 2026 on Amazon Kindle
  • Using AI Without Getting Caught, an ethics led guide to transparent and responsible AI use
  • Both distributed through Amazon and Selar
  • Covers, interiors, listings and launch assets produced in house

Street furniture in educational environments

Obafemi Awolowo University campus study

The situation

Street furniture has been studied extensively in city contexts and barely at all inside university campuses, despite campuses being dense pedestrian environments with heavy dwell time.

What I did

Designed and ran a mixed methods study surveying two hundred and fifty students, staff and visitors. Catalogued the furniture present, mapped distribution, measured usage against visibility, and scored perceived effectiveness by type.

What came out
  • Eight distinct categories of street furniture identified across the campus
  • Significant gap found between observational frequency and actual usage
  • Effectiveness scores produced by furniture type, with bus shelters rating highest
  • Accessibility gaps identified for users with mobility needs
Brand and content 06

A content studio, not a blog

Delight Data Exploration

The situation

A consultancy with no visibility beyond word of mouth, competing with firms that had been advertising for years.

What I did

Built a black and neon green identity and applied it across web, print, email, social and video. Then built twelve running content series on a published calendar, with scripting, design, production and distribution handled by a team I recruited.

What came out
  • Twelve running series across video, writing and audio
  • A nine person team across research, design, production, digital and operations
  • Monthly performance reporting against delivery, timeliness and quality criteria
  • One consistent identity from a business card to a book cover to an application
A content studio, not a blog

Thirteen tools built for students, three of them public

Delight Data Exploration, published on the public web

The situation

The same three questions arrived every term. How do I plan a dissertation backwards from its deadline. How do I reference correctly without losing a whole night. What do I need in the work that is left to reach a merit or a distinction. Answering them one at a time did not scale.

What I did

Turned each question into a working tool and published all three free, with no sign up and no data collection. They sit alongside the ten tools built inside OLIVE, making thirteen in total. A dissertation timeline calculator that plans backwards from a submission date, a Harvard reference generator in the Cite Them Right style that keeps its formatting when pasted into a document, and a grade calculator that states honestly what the remaining work must average for each classification.

What came out
  • Three public tools live, each on its own indexed page with supporting guidance
  • Built as single files with no external dependencies, so they load fast and stay maintainable
  • Written to be honest, including telling a user plainly when a target is no longer reachable
  • Free permanently, as practical evidence of the method rather than a lead capture

Documented outcomes

These are anonymised examples reported after defined research guidance, editing, analysis coaching or training engagements. Supporting records can be discussed privately where confidentiality permits.

82 and 94
reported marks after structured research and analysis support at United Kingdom universities
58 to 71
one learner's reported improvement after the marking criteria and feedback were translated into a practical revision plan
Fail to merit
reported progression after guided resubmission planning and feedback interpretation
