Study Abroad
We get you into the right university for your Masters. PhD. Postgrad. MBA.
Twelve years of getting Nigerian students into the right universities abroad. UK, US, Canada, Australia, Ireland. Application strategy, document writing, visa walkthrough, direct submission. No agent commissions.
THE PACKAGE
Six pieces. One path to acceptance.
Every application we touch follows the same six steps, in the same order. It is the discipline that turns good profiles into accepted profiles.
Strategic university shortlist
Three universities, not ten. One stretch school, two insurance schools. Calibrated to your degree, your finances, and your visa risk.
Pre-application enquiry letters
Before we touch any application portal, we write admissions and ask plainly: would they accept your specific profile. If no, nothing appears on your record.
Full application writing
Personal statement, CV, recommendation requests, supporting documents. Built the way the school wants to read them, in your voice.
Country-specific visa walkthrough
Most agents charge extra for this or get it wrong. We treat your visa file like our own, country by country.
Scholarship strategy, timed right
Asked AFTER the offer arrives, never before. We aim to surprise you with reductions, not promise them up front.
Direct submission, no commissions
Your application goes from your hands to the university. No middleman, no commission cuts, no steering you toward schools that pay us.
WHO THIS IS FOR
Built for the careful applicant.
Four profiles we see again and again. Each one needs a different opening move.
The Career Changer
You have work experience but want a different degree subject for the next phase. We argue your case to schools that see your engineering, your nursing, or your business background as an asset, not a barrier.
The Fresh Graduate
First class or second class upper, you finished recently, and you want a Masters that lifts your CV. We pick schools where your degree opens doors that match your direction.
The Working Professional
Five plus years in, you want the formal qualification to match the work you already do. We build applications that show the school you have already been operating at that level.
The Second-Time Applicant
A previous application was refused or withdrawn. We diagnose what went wrong, build a stronger case, and pick schools whose decision-makers would have said yes the first time.
THE PROCESS
Seven steps, end to end.
From the first call to the airport. No surprises. Each step has its own deliverable and its own decision point.
Free strategy call
Thirty minutes. You tell us your degree, your experience, your finances, your timeline. We tell you whether DDE is the right fit or if a different path serves you better.
Profile assessment
Academic record, English evidence, work experience, financial readiness, visa history. Documented as a brief you keep.
Strategic shortlist
Three universities. The brief explains exactly why each one, and what the realistic decision will be for your profile.
Pre-submission enquiry letters where needed
Written, sent, tracked. Outcomes documented before any formal application goes in, so you never wear a refusal you did not need.
Application package
Personal statement, CV, recommendation requests, supporting documents. Two rounds of revision included.
Submission and offer management
We submit directly. We track every reply. We tell you which offer to accept and exactly why.
Visa preparation and pre-departure
Finance plan, bank statement review, country-specific visa rules, plus the things nobody tells you until after you have landed.
THE HONEST COMPARISON
Three ways to apply. Only one works for you.
If a path on this page sounds familiar, you have seen it before. The third column is what makes DDE worth the call.
DIY
On Your Own
- Hours of research alone
- One school choice based on agent ads or Reddit posts
- Visa rules guessed at
- High refusal risk
- No one to call when the bank statement gets queried
Typical Agent
Commission-Based
- Paid by the school you eventually attend
- Picks schools that pay them, not schools that fit you
- Steers you toward the same handful of universities
- Cannot handle complex profiles
- Often refuses to handle the visa beyond the form
DDE
Built For You
- Transparent scope agreed at the strategy call
- No commission, ever
- Picks schools that fit YOUR profile and finances
- Handles complex cases: career changers, refusals, 2:2 holders
- Full visa walkthrough, country-specific money rules
THE TEAM
Twelve years getting Nigerian students into the right schools abroad.
Taiwo Oladokun
Founder and Creative Director, DDE
Twelve years of academic writing and application support for Nigerian students across UK, North American, and Australian universities. Quiet results across hundreds of careers.
I built this service after watching too many capable students get steered into the wrong schools by agents on commission, refused for visa-money mistakes they did not have to make, or talked out of stretch schools they were perfectly qualified for. The way DDE works for you is the way I would want someone to work for my own family.
CHECKLIST
Bring these to the first call.
Not a barrier to entry, just what we need to give you a useful answer in thirty minutes.
- A scan of your degree certificate or current statement of result
- Your WAEC English score, or IELTS / TOEFL if you have already sat one
- Your CV in any format
- A rough idea of your timeline (next September, next January, the year after)
- A rough idea of which countries you are open to (UK, US, Canada, Australia, Ireland, or open question)
QUESTIONS
What you might be wondering.
Which countries do you cover?
UK, US, Canada, Australia, and Ireland for Masters, PhD, and postgraduate routes. If you have your eye on a country we have not handled before, tell us at the strategy call and we will be honest about whether we are the right team for it.
What if my application is refused?
A refusal is rare with the way we work, because we test risk with enquiry letters before submitting. If it happens anyway, we file the formal review with you and rebuild the case for the next intake.
What if my finances are not ready yet?
We tell you straight, and we plan around the next intake. Country-specific money rules vary, but the principle is the same everywhere: we will not let you submit before the financial picture supports it.
My degree is a 2:2. Is that a problem?
For most schools, no. For some specific programmes, yes. We confirm BEFORE you apply, in writing, so you never carry a refusal you did not need.
Do I need IELTS or TOEFL?
Often not. Your WAEC English or your medium-of-instruction letter may exempt you. We confirm with each school in writing.
How long does the process take?
Three to six months from the first call to a visa submission, depending on the country and your timeline. Tighter timelines are possible if your case is straightforward.
Can I keep the documents you write?
Yes. Everything we produce stays yours forever.
How do I get a quote?
Book the free strategy call. We scope your case, agree what is needed, and put it in writing. No surprises after that.
THE NEXT STEP
Book a free strategy call. Thirty minutes.
We will not pressure you. If DDE is the right fit, we will say so. If a different path serves you better, we will say that too. Either way, you walk away with a clearer picture of where you stand.
